Hey y'all, how y'all doing? Welcome to Karrie's Korner - a little spot on the page where I can check in, see how everyone is doing and drop a little knowledge or wisdom every now and then.

This year saw a lot of changes, we elected a new board that had ambitious goals and one of them was bringing an amazing tow show to our members. I am proud and humbled to say that I think we accomplished that. 47 vendors and 700 visitors over 2 days. Education and training and more importantly, networking and fellowship. That's what I saw in the Jim Graham Building over those 2 days. We've already had a good response from our alumni vendors who are excited to get us on their books for 2024. While we're still in the planning stages, we can announce that the 2024 show will be back in Raleigh, September 5-7, 2024 so get that date on your calendars, we're quickly becoming a show that you DON'T want to miss!! In August we elected a new board and added a new region to the association. Please welcome Mike & Janet Woolard (Eastern region Vice President & Director), Brooke Barns Holt (Central Region Director) and Bobby Gardner (Southern Region Director) to the 2024 Board. We are excited to see what they can bring to the table for our members.

Lastly, I wanted to make sure that everyone is aware and invited to our 11/4 meeting in Asheville. We've heard the feedback and we're going to start the meeting a little later in the day. The hope is that with starting a little later, more companies can attend with more time to get there instead of trying to break away to come up the night before for an early morning meeting. The membership meeting starts at 1pm and there is an Ugly Sweater/White Elephant Party later that night. Come for the meeting and stay for the fellowship!
